Women can kick ass in the gym with Redline Princess

REDLINE Princess Energy DrinkWomen have it rough in the gym.  Heading to many Roid packed testosterone heavy machoness could be a humbling experience.  Depending on the nature of the gym, they have to deal with grunting no-neck muscleheads hitting on them, dorks thinking asking for a spot is the same thing as a date and the reek of the smelling unwashed leaving pools of sweat behind them.  The muscle-building equipment is intimidating, and the place is full of other women running for their second straight hour on the treadmill or killing themselves with abdominal abuse (overworking their abs by doing a hundred side bends and fifty different power tummy crunches).  Not to mention, It's easier for men to see the difference from going to the gym, since men are more likely than women to lose weight due to exercise.  It doesn't help matters that almost every workout supplement out there is all for the dudes, showing as much angry sterioded manliness as they can get away with without turning right to gay porn.

This is completely unfair.   After all, women are more likely than men to engage in fitness activities for at least 100 days per year.  Women in sports events have been gaining numbers  steadily in numbers for years.  It is time for women to have a REAL workout supplement that they can take with them and use without misogynist pandering ( but look - it has a foil top and a straw!) or looking like they are playing around with packaging more than product.

Thanks to VPX, they do.  Redline Princess is a full fledged kick-your-ass workout drink, only geared specifically for women.  And they do this is a way that is not only with taste and packaging, but also with a specific formula geared to the way women want to work out.  VPX sent me a four pack for my wife and I to test out in the gym.

Taste:9
With all the talk of low-calorie and harsh chemicals, I expected this to taste like Saccharin sweet armpit.  I could not have been more wrong!  Surprisingly, this stuff tastes awesome.  My wife dislikes the flavors of most workout drinks as well as energy drinks, but really got into drinking these.  For being diet fruit punch drink, the flavor is light and crisp, possible to be drunk down right before a heavy workout without needing to wash your mouth off first.  What you won't taste is medicinal bitterness, harshness or any sour notes.  It is not liquid candy either, and even feels, dare I say it, refreshing!

Packaging:9
I don't think it would be possible to create a better bottle for this product.  They stayed far away from the pitfalls of creating a female centered drink, and kept all the good things.  For instance, they steered far away with making a pretty drink decked out in rainbows and uniorns.  Sure, the case is pinkish, but it is definitely not girly.  There is a slight bit of cutesy with the "princess" writing on the can, but overall the design is tasteful.

As for the mechanics, they did a great job.  The two serving bottle warns the "two servings per bottle" in numerous places, lists the caffeine and all their ingredients nicely, and has enough warnings to scare a medical lawyer into submission.   Fortunately, the lid is a twist off, so you CAN actually save the other serving for later.

The one thing I did not get was the big slogan, "Freeze and Burn".  Mind you, after heading with this to the gym, I totally got what they were talking about.

Regular Redline Kicked my ass up one cheek and down the other.  That stuff was STRONG! This was supposed to be more or less the same formula, only with a mood enhancer and appetite suppressant too.

In terms of straight caffeine , Princess contains 250 mg in the 8 oz bottle - which is a pure powerhouse of energy in and of itself.  It also has Beta-Alanine, which allows the drinker to exercise longer and harder, and starts doing that thermogenic thing to your body.  There is the addition of  Beta-Phenylethylamine and St. Johns Wort to help your mood,  and enough other enhancers to really do a number on your body temperature and metabolism.

This provided my wife and I with amazing workouts.  We were in great spirits and really kicked some ass in the gym.  We were both jitter free from the caffeine - and there was absolutly no crashing either.

For me, the coolest thing was the way it brought my body temperature up, and then left my skin hot to the touch.  Although it could have been a little scary if I was not expecting it, You  definitely feel the freeze and burn from the drink.

My only issue, now I need to stock my house with more...
