Responsibilities
|
- Responsible for software development in regard to database solutions and custom software development
- Work on simultaneous projects including data driven web & desktop applications, web layouts and enhancements for our corporate site and various micro-sites as directed by management
- Work within a team environment to address programming requirements
- Required to extend support and assistance to other team members involved with web services, custom applications and development solutions
- Code & style web pages utilizing XHTML and CSS that follow the latest industry standards
- Ability to work fluently in the .NET framework
- Knowledge and experience with several programming languages including HTML, XML, SQL Server, ASP.NET, VB.NET, and JavaScript as well as combinations of languages such as AJAX
- Review, analyze and modify web systems including designing, developing, testing, monitoring, documenting, and maintaining applications as specified by management
- Work & interact with Microsoft IIS web servers using FTP, Telnet, and SSH protocols
- Participate in review and company meetings concerning program direction & project deliverables
- Document work-time and processes as specified by management
- Responsible for meeting set goals and deadlines timely and as scheduled
- Furnish custom applications from concept to completion

Special Skills/Position Requirements
|
- VB.Net, ASP.Net, Visual Basic, SQL, SOAP, XML, SOA, AJAX, HTML, CSS, Javascript
- Bachelor's degree in web design or other discipline related to the primary job responsibilities
- Two to four years experience in web development/design, with a minimum of one year producing table-free, XHTML standard cross browser compliant websites
- One to two years of quality VB.NET experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Visual Studios 2008
- Possess Strong UI capabilities
- Superior knowledge of standards-based XHTML and CSS coding (not WYSIWIG)
- Advanced knowledge of XHTML, CSS, and of digital imaging and illustration with Adobe Creative Suite
- Extensive experience designing web sites
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with web-based software applications
- Above average written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask
